Then you will love synchronized swimming.
Synchronized Swimming is a sport of strength, flexibility, agility, endurance, teamwork, and creativity. It's demanding - but fun.
In the water, synchronized swimmers achieve the aquatic endurance of speed swimming, the precision and power of gymnastics, and the artistry of dance.
Our club is a regional training centre for recreational, competitive and elite athletes. We train at the Canada Games pool in Kamloops, B.C. Swimmers from the Kamloops Sunrays Synchro Swim Club compete at Recreational, Provincial and Nationally in age categories from ages 6+.
We also have an enthusiastic group of recreational swimmers, and offer Masters sessions for new swimmers and retired athletes over 18.
Kamloops Sunrays Synchro has programs for girls and boys ranging from around age 6 to adult. Most new athletes start in the Intro To Synchro 12 Week Program, or Sun Stars recreational programs and then advance to our competitive programs after their first year.
We suggest that swimmers should have passed Red Cross Level 4 or equivalent. However, our coaches both introduce and continue to teach swimming skills in all our programs. Regardless of your experience or ability, there is a place for you to swim at the Kamloops Sunrays Synchro Swim Club.
Synchronized swimming is a great sport for anyone who loves the water and is seeking fitness, teamwork and fun! The Kamloops Sunrays Synchro Swim Club offers synchronized swimming programs to swimmers from age 6 to 96, beginner to advanced. Programs are offered at TCC (Canada Games Pool) in Kamloops, BC.
Our 2015-2016 Season begins Tuesday, September 8th. Click here for detailed descriptions of our Recreational and Competitive programs.
Min: 30 hours/week. Remuneration will be dependent on qualifications and experience
